After the latest leak of the sim tray of the iphone, now here comes The Box. Have a look at it.!
After leaking the upcoming iPhone's nano-SIM tray, French site nowhereelse.fr has spotted pictures of what appears to be the next iPhone's logic board. These originated from a Chinese forum and interestingly, the board screw holes line up with previously leaked cases.
Unless this is a deliberate sting attempt by Apple to find out who has been leaking information, it looks like this bit of information about the next iPhone would turn out to be true. Macrumors also points out the person accurately leaked last year's iPhone 4 logic board, too.
It's a shame, however, that the metal shielding covering the processor was not removed, which means no one is able to verify whether the next iPhone will be using a dual- or quad-core processor.
The iPhone has, for the last two times, used a downclocked version of the iPad processor, so we could be looking at a phone loaded with the A5X. Unless there's more information, it looks like we'll have to wait till the rumored upcoming September 12 event to find out for sure.
